VFI® primers have been tested and proven by the toughest industrial conditions. They are specially formulated to adhere to concrete surfaces.

Find out more how VFI’s Silicone Roof Coating Systems can solve your roofing needs.

Concrete is one of the most porous substrates in the construction industry. If a concrete roof is not properly sealed, water will penetrate the concrete causing the rebar to corrode which will result in spalling and cracking. If enough water penetrates through the concrete surface, water intrusion will cause damage to the building’s interior.

SEALGUARD VFI-990 High Solids Silicone can seal the concrete preventing it’s deterioration. Because the coating system is fully adhered to the concrete seamlessly, there is no place for wind and water to penetrate into the surface. All that is required to rejuvenate the silicone coating system at the end of its useful life is to add additional layers of the proper silicone top coat.

SEALGUARD VFI’s 990 White Silicone Roof Coating is rated as a cool roof by the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC). The result is a substantial reduction in cooling costs compared to traditional roofing.
